One of the major challenges of integrating applications like Solomon and Microsoft CRM is that business processes that are misaligned need to be fixed before they can be automated.  For example, if the Order Entry person knows that certain orders go in with a different SiteID, or “we always charge the orders for Bill in Omaha to a different Solomon GL account,” we end up with issues — unless the client can clearly define and rules can be built that will get applied every time.  We need to look at the integration of order entry as a very efficient clerk that cannot make any autonomous decisions. So unless the sales team is aligned with the Solomon order entry team we will have problems.
