I spent all day talking to MVPs, ISVs, partners, customers about the excitement surrounding Microsoft Dynamics CRM. There are so many people blogging about this new product that is version 3.0. Yesterday I stood for almost five hours straight. Today I lasted three hours before I had to take some advil. I am not used to standing, but I so enjoy talking to these people that I wanted to make the most of the time. I will be blogging about the people I met and the conversations we had in a later blog.

I wandered over to the useability forum and talked to the people demonstrating different Microsoft Dynamic offerings. I then talked to people in the hands-on lab about the ease in using the product.. There were two tasks. One was creating a new sales process to ensure consistency across a multi-person sale force. You want to standardize the process so that you get consistent performance without incurring a time hit.

The next task was to create a mail merge document so that you could contact all the vendors in the state of Washington. You can easily create an activity record against the Microsoft Dynamics CRM entity to create a historical reference for the activity completed. The attendees were waiting in standing room only lines to get in and play with the new product.

Many of the MVPs were there to assist the users with their questions. They seemed to enjoy this work and were hoping from one table to another. It's time to get ready for the reception at the Hilton. This is a very interesting conference.
