Dynamics UX

"We're trying to create a familiar experience"

"Darren Laybourn, a general manager in Microsoft's Dynamics unit, showed software that used a ribbon of contextually changing menu options, a la Office 2007. The application also grouped related information into stacks--a technique employed by the new search capabilities in Windows Vista. " Cnet

I think it is great that the work that our team, the Dynamics User Experience team, is finally getting into our products. It is even more exiting that it is being shown at Convergence by none other than Bill Gates and Darren Laybourn. I think oday is a day to be proud of.

If you have an opinion about Dynamics adopting user interface concepts from Windows Vista and Office 2007, let me know in the comments.
